Baltimore Emerging Companies Roundtable Discussion

How to Obtain Cash Without Giving Up Equity

Seeking funding, but reluctant to jeopardize your equity? This discussion will center on best practices for securing funding without sacrificing your ownership interest. These alternative methods of financing include crowdfunding, cash prizes, grants, loans and strategic alliances.  Share your experiences and learn from others about different revenue streams that are available to emerging companies.

Our thought leaders for this Roundtable are:

Henry Ahn, M.B.A., Program Manager, Technology Funding Programs, TEDCO;

Judy Costello, Deputy Director, BioMaryland Center;

Martha J. Connolly, Director, Maryland Industrial Partnerships (MIPS); and

Jacqueline L. Allen, Business and Finance Attorney, Saul Ewing LLP.

The Discussion will take place at the Firm’s Baltimore office, 500 E. Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., with networking to follow until 10 a.m. A light breakfast will be served.
