How to Disclose

Submit a Disclosure (online)

An online disclosure form is available via myUMB portal. Once you log into myUMB, then navigate to the Administrative Systems section and select UMBiz. From the UMBiz dashbord, choose the specific disclosure form for Invention, Copyright or Tangible Research Property that you wish to submit. Upon your submission,your disclosure will be promptly and accurately recorded into OTT's system. Note that access to myUMB is restricted to UMB personnel. If you need a login for myUMB, select the "First Time User" link on the myUMB portal page.

Submit a Disclosure (MS Word fillable forms)

You may submit a disclosure by completing one of the following forms:

• Copyright Disclosure
• Invention Disclosure
• Tangible Research Property (TRP) Disclosure

OTT requires signatures from all inventors. Once you have submitted the form online or completed the MS Word version, please print and have all inventors sign and date. Then, email to Janice Ankeny at [email protected], Office of TechnologyTransfer (OTT): 620 W.Lexington St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
