On October 29, Gliknik Inc. CEO David Block shared his company's story of success to date – including a recently announced licensing agreement with Pfizer – at the Maryland Entrepreneur Breakfast in Baltimore, hosted by the Maryland Department of Business & Economic Development. Dr. Block explained that his company began as a University of Maryland, Baltimore, spinout and was the first commercial tenant in the second building of the University's BioPark. Dr. Block stated, "Maryland is a great place to start a biotech company." Gliknik was featured on the event's agenda as a growing life science company.
