Unviersity of Maryland, Baltimore's New Ventures team is taking an innovative, hands-on approach to helping UMB inventors develop their inventions. From technical and entrepreneurial advice, funding to validate and de-risk technologies, patent protection, licensing deals with industry partners or, in the case of startups, direct capital investments, the New Ventures team aims to help clear the path to market for the Unviersity's most promising biomedical research and technology.
