Introduction to I-Corps Workshop

Commercial success depends on validating the fit of your technology, product, or service with market needs and pain points, and there’s a process to do this without investing heavily in costly R&D.  NSF, NIH, and DOE  are now all applying this process (known as I-Corps) to the discoveries and innovation they fund.  Learn this process and explore the commercial potential of your innovative idea, technology, or product in a new 2-week short course offered by NSF’s DC I-Corps team.

  *   Perfect for busy faculty and innovators in professional institutions that are serious about seeing their technologies make it to market

  *   One day in-person, two week part-time commitment

  *   Guidance from experienced entrepreneurs and advisors

  *   Exposure to regional network of mentors, advisors, and investors

  *   Learn about multi-agency I-Corps and SBIR programs (NSF, NIH, other)

  *   Based on proven commercialization methodologies developed in Silicon Valley and now adopted worldwide

  *   All disciplines encouraged to apply

  *   Graduates eligible to apply for $50K NSF I-Corps grant*
