Baltimore Business Journal: Deal roundup: $4M contract with TSA, grant money for B-360 and more local tech moves

Undoubtedly, the most remarkable tech deal in Greater Baltimore in December was the $110 million Series C raised by Hanover's Dragos Inc.

Plenty of other smaller-scale funding deals, product launches and other growth moves took place last month as well. And though they may not be as eye-catching as a nine-figure round, those moves are nonetheless newsworthy contributors to the overall growth of the local tech ecosystem, and deserve some recognition.

Included in the roundup was a partnership between University of Maryland School of Medicine and Gain Therapeutics Inc. to investigate Gain’s drug candidates, which have the potential to correct function in proteins that cause neurological diseases like neuronopathic Gaucher disease and Parkinson’s disease.
