Executive Summary
Researchers at the University of Maryland’s National Foreign Language Center (NFLC) have developed Language Ladder, a language learning web platform and mobile app for intermediate and higher level learners. Language Ladder has more than 100 languages and more than 900 video learning and compact learning models to provide learners with a comprehensive solution. Language Ladder is also flexible, since any materials that conform to NFLC’s public data model can be made accessible. Additional features include:

· Downloading for offline access
· Filtering by language, level, and lesson type
· Saving filters
· Tracking time spent on each lesson and date complete
· Generating progress reports
